Children's SW - Support & Safeguarding Team - Wiltshire

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments of children's needs and risks, ensuring that their welfare is the primary focus.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other stakeholders.
- Providing ongoing support and intervention to families, offering guidance and resources to promote stability and safety.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of casework, adhering to legal and procedural requirements.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children and families.
The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and family support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child protection.
