Adult's SW - Support & Safeguarding Team - Camden

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our Support & Safeguarding Team in Camden. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in providing support and safeguarding services to vulnerable adults in the community.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments to determine the needs and risks of adults requiring support
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users and their families
  • Providing advocacy and support to empower individuals to make informed decisions
  • Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery
  • Participating in safeguarding investigations and taking appropriate actions to protect adults at risk

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration
  • Demonstrated experience in adult social work, preferably within a safeguarding or support team
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify complex needs and risks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse service users and stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced and challenging environment
