We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's SSW to join our CIC Team in Darlington. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families involved in the care system.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in need of support
- Participating in case conferences and meetings with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children
- Providing direct support and guidance to children and families to promote their well-being and safety
- Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to advocate for the needs of children in care
The essential qualifications and skills for this role include:
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in children's services
- Registration with Social Work England
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to children's social care
