We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our CIC Team in Suffolk. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to children and families involved in the care system.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Undertaking assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Conducting regular visits and reviews to monitor progress and ensure the safety and well-being of children
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and case conferences to coordinate support services
  • Providing guidance and support to foster carers and adoptive families

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration
  • Experience working within a Children in Care (CIC) setting
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to child protection and safeguarding
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
