Adult's SW - MASH Team - Oldham

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our MASH Team in Oldham. As a member of the team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults in the community.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks of adult service users.
  • Developing and implementing care plans to support individuals in achieving their goals and improving their quality of life.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and stakeholders to provide holistic support to service users.
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to ensure the ongoing safety and well-being of adults at risk.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration.
  • Demonstrated experience working within adult social care, preferably in a MASH or safeguarding team.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build rapport with service users and professionals.
