We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our Early Help Team in Southend on Sea on a permanent basis. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing support and intervention to children and families in need.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families
  • Working collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children
  • Providing direct support and intervention to families to address safeguarding concerns
  • Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and make recommendations for ongoing support

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration and experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of child protection procedures and legislation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a complex caseload efficiently
