We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our TM - Locality Team in Gloucestershire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Undertaking assessments of children and families to identify their needs and develop appropriate support plans.
- Working collaboratively with partner agencies and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Participating in case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings as required.
- Providing support and guidance to children and families to promote their well-being and safeguarding.
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all work undertaken in line with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting.
- Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and upholding ethical standards in social work practice.
Additional requirements for this role include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle, as the position may involve travel to various locations within Gloucestershire.
