Adult's SW - MH Team - Wiltshire

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our Mental Health Team in Wiltshire. As a key member of the team, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for adults with mental health issues
  • Providing support and intervention to individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals, service users, and their families to ensure holistic care
  • Advocating for the rights and wellbeing of vulnerable adults in the community
  • Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and case conferences to review and monitor progress

To excel in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current registration with the HCPC
  • Demonstrated experience working with adults with mental health issues in a social work capacity
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in adult social care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

In addition to the above requirements, candidates with experience in crisis intervention, safeguarding, and mental capacity assessments will be highly regarded. This role offers the opportunity for professional development and career progression within a supportive team environment.
