We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Trafford Cared for Children team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to children and young people who are in care or in need of protection.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families
  • Providing direct support and intervention to children in care
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children
  • Participating in case conferences and court proceedings as required
  • Advocating for the rights and well-being of children and young people

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current HCPC registration
  • Demonstrated experience working with children and families in a social work setting
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
