We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Court Team within the Children in Care sector in Northamptonshire. As a Qualified Social Worker in the Court Team, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in care.
- Preparing reports and presenting cases in court, ensuring the best interests of the child are prioritized.
- Collaborating with multi-agency partners to provide comprehensive support to children and families.
- Managing a caseload effectively while maintaining high standards of practice.
- Providing guidance and support to foster carers and adoptive families.
To be considered for this role, candidates must hold a relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Essential skills include:
- Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and court procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Experience in managing complex cases and working within a court context.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
