An exciting opportunity for an Assistant Team

Manager to join the Hospital/D2A Team in Solihull.


Looking for candidates who have experience

hold post-qualifying experience in Adult Social Work Services.


Experience of providing professional

supervision to other workers which encourage reflection, progression and

development.

Experience of working in a pressurised

environment.


Experience of managing positive risk taking

and making decisions.


Experience of multi-agency working.

Experience of effectively chairing meetings.


Detailed knowledge of relevant legislation

including: Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 (inc. DoLS), MHA 1983, etc.


Ability to lead, motivate, support and

develop Social Workers



Effective performance management skills to

ensure team objectives are met.



Ability to effectively communicate complex

and sensitive information both verbally and in writing, including effective

report writing

Effective interpersonal skills and ability to

respond positively to challenging situations



The successful ATM would need to work 1 in 6

weekends and provide bank holiday cover as required. (and part of a 7 day

working rota)
