Social worker - Adults Safeguarding - North Somerset
Exciting opportunity for experienced Social Worker to work within the Adult Safeguarding Team in the coastal area of North Somerset. Rate up to 38ph. 3 month minimum contract 37 hours per week, that will be on going after initial review. Exciting opportunity in a lovely area in the South West. Good transport links from M5
Responsibilities comprise the following:
* Experience undertaking Section 42 Safegaurding Enquiries and complex assessments
* Need to demonstrate application and commitment to Making Safeguarding Personal
* Ability to undertake assessment of risk and risk management.
* Evidence of partnership working in order to ensure vulnerable adults are protected from abuse.
* As part of this triaging process to develop strong communication, to facilitate sharing of information with partner agencies to identify potential risk, and safeguard people from significant harm or exploitation to work in partnership with all agencies including providers to ensure protection for adults at risk of abuse or neglect
You will be SWE registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
