Qualified Social Worker - Learning Disabilities Team - Somerset
Rate: £38 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: Brympton Way, Yeovil, BA20 2HT
Working Pattern: Office-based according to team rota
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Adults Learning Disabilities Team in Somerset. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive team delivering high-quality services to adults with learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of adults with learning disabilities
Complete Care Act assessments, reviews, and support planning
Undertake Mental Capacity Assessments and Best Interest decisions
Work in partnership with health professionals and other stakeholders
Safeguarding adults at risk
Promote independence and person-centred outcomes
Contribute to multi-disciplinary working across Adults & Health services
Requirements
Qualified Social Worker with SWE registration
Experience working within Adults Learning Disabilities services
Strong knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding
Ability to manage complex caseloads effectively
Strong assessment and care planning skills
Additional Information
Rate: £38 per hour (Umbrella)
Office presence expected in line with team working arrangements
Based at Brympton Way, Yeovil
