Stockport - QSW - Kinship Team
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the Kinship Team at Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council.
Pay Rate: £35 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: Piccadilly, Stockport, Stockport, SK1 3XE, United Kingdom
As a Social Worker in the Kinship Team, you will work closely with kinship/connected carers to ensure children are placed within safe and supportive family environments. You will assess and support carers, ensuring stability and positive outcomes for children, while working collaboratively with families and partner agencies.
Key Skills Required:
- Experience working within Kinship/Connected Persons services
- Ability to assess and support kinship carers effectively
- Strong relationship-building skills with children, families, and carers
- Ability to produce high-quality assessments and reports
- Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree, DipSW, or equivalent
- Registered with Social Work England
- Experience within children's services
- 5 years reference, gaps in employment history checked, and relevant qualifications as per JDPS
