We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Learning Disabilities Team in Oxfordshire. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality support to adults with learning disabilities, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are upheld. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with individuals, families, and other professionals to promote independence and enhance well-being.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and preferences of individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Developing and implementing person-centered support plans that promote independence and quality of life.
  • Working closely with families and carers to provide guidance, support, and education.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to care and support.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities or in a similar setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
