In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of families within the community, while leading a team of dedicated social workers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing effective leadership and management to the Family Safeguarding Team.
  • Overseeing case management to ensure high-quality safeguarding practices.
  • Supporting and developing team members through regular supervision and training.
  • Collaborating with partner agencies to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in child protection and family safeguarding.
  • Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
