Dudley - AP - Centre for Professional Practitioner Team
Dudley Metropolitan Brough Council is currently seeking an experienced Advance Practitioner to support their Centre for Professional Practitioner Team.
Location: Council House, Priory Road
Pay Rate: £38.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide practice leadership and support to social workers, promoting high standards of practice
- Offer guidance, mentoring, and coaching to improve professional development across the team
- Lead on complex casework and support with decision-making in high-risk cases
- Drive quality assurance and service improvement through audits, reviews, and reflective practice
- Support the implementation of best practice models and ensure compliance with statutory frameworks
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to improve outcomes for children and families
- Promote a strong focus on safeguarding, child-centred practice, and positive interventions
- Contribute to workforce development, learning, and embedding effective professional standards
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
- Social Work England Registration
- Driving license and access to own vehicle
