Dudley - AP - Child in Care Team
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Advanced Practitioner to join the Child in Care Team at Dudley Council.
Pay Rate: £38.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: DY1 2JP, Dudley
As an Advanced Practitioner within the Child in Care Team, you will play a key role in supporting looked after children and young people to achieve stability, permanence and positive outcomes. You will manage complex cases, provide practice leadership and support less experienced social workers while ensuring that high standards of social work practice are maintained.
You will work closely with children, families, carers and partner agencies to ensure care plans are progressed effectively, the child's voice remains central to all decision-making, and that children receive the support they need to thrive.
Key Skills Required:
* Experience within Child in Care / Looked After Children services
* Strong safeguarding, care planning and permanence planning experience
* Ability to manage complex cases and make informed decisions
* Experience mentoring, coaching and supporting social workers
* Strong assessment, report writing and court work skills
* Excellent communication and multi-agency working abilities
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Significant post-qualification experience within Children's Services
* Previous experience at Senior Practitioner, Advanced Practitioner or equivalent level
