Worcestershire - QSW - Fostering and Kinship Team
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the Fostering & Kinship Team at Worcestershire Children's Services.
Pay Rate: Up to £33.30 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: WR5 2NP, Worcestershire
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated Fostering & Kinship Team, supporting children and young people to achieve stability and positive outcomes through family-based care arrangements. You will work with foster carers, kinship carers and families to ensure safe, nurturing and sustainable placements.
The role will involve undertaking fostering and kinship assessments, supporting carers, contributing to care planning and working closely with partner agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
Key Skills Required:
* Experience within Fostering, Kinship Care or Connected Persons services
* Strong safeguarding, assessment and care planning experience
* Experience completing viability, fostering and kinship assessments
* Ability to build effective relationships with children, families and carers
* Strong report writing, communication and analytical skills
* Experience of multi-agency working
* Social Work England registration required
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Previous experience within Children's Services
* Strong knowledge of fostering, kinship care and safeguarding legislation
