Eden Brown Synergy are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Kinship Fostering Team at Manchester City Council.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and well-structured team, focusing on assessing and supporting kinship carers to provide safe and stable placements for children and young people.


🔹 Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake comprehensive kinship assessments in line with fostering regulations
* Provide ongoing support and supervision to kinship carers
* Work closely with children, families, and connected persons to promote positive outcomes
* Prepare high-quality reports for panel and court proceedings
* Ensure all work is completed in line with statutory requirements and local policies
* Collaborate effectively with multi-agency partners
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records


🔹 Requirements:
* Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
* Experience within fostering, kinship, or children looked after services
* Strong assessment and report writing skills
* Sound knowledge of fostering regulations and safeguarding frameworks
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
