Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Advanced Practitioner to join the Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team at Knowsley Council.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive local authority, taking on a senior practice role and making a meaningful impact on the lives of children with disabilities and their families.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage complex cases involving children with disabilities, ensuring positive outcomes
* Complete assessments, care planning, and statutory interventions in line with legislation
* Support and mentor social workers, offering practice guidance and oversight
* Work closely with multi-agency partners including health, education, and support services
* Lead on safeguarding and child protection matters where required
* Maintain high-quality case recording and contribute to service improvement
Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Previous experience within Children with Disabilities teams
* Advanced Practitioner / senior-level experience preferred
* Strong assessment, leadership, and decision-making skills
* Ability to manage complex work independently and support wider team practice
