Children's TM - CWD Team - Achieving for Children

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Qualified Social Worker who is committed to providing high-quality support and intervention to children with disabilities and their families. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing needs, developing care plans, and ensuring the well-being of children in accordance with legislation and best practices.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Providing direct support to children and families, facilitating access to services and resources.
- Working closely with schools, health services, and community organizations to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with legal and organizational requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in children's social work.
