Cheshire West is seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Manager for our Child Protection/Court Team within the Qualified Social Work field. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader who can inspire and support a team of social workers in delivering high-quality services to children and families in need. You will be responsible for managing complex cases, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and promoting best practices within the team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supervising a team of social workers, providing guidance and support in case management.
  • Overseeing the assessment and intervention processes for children and families, ensuring that all actions are in the best interest of the child.
  • Developing and implementing team objectives, performance targets, and quality assurance measures.

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
