Eden Brown Synergy are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Supervising Social Worker to join Cheshire West & Chester Council's Mainstream Fostering Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive fostering service committed to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.
Pay Rate: £38.99 per hour (Locum)
Location: CH65 0BE, Cheshire West & Chester
As a Supervising Social Worker within the Mainstream Fostering Team, you will provide ongoing support and supervision to foster carers, undertake assessments and reviews, and work collaboratively with children, families, and partner agencies to ensure safe and stable placements.
Key Skills Required:
* Experience within Fostering Services, ideally Mainstream Fostering
* Ability to complete foster carer assessments and annual reviews
* Strong safeguarding knowledge and risk assessment skills
* Experience supporting and supervising foster carers
* Ability to build positive working relationships with children, families, and professionals
* Strong report writing and case management skills
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Previous experience within Children's Services/Fostering
* Strong communication and organisational skills
