Pay Rate: £39.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: CH65 0BE, Cheshire West
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the Family Help Team at Cheshire West & Chester Council.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated Family Help Team, working directly with children and families to provide timely intervention, safeguard children and promote positive outcomes. You will manage a varied caseload, undertake statutory assessments, develop child-centred plans and work collaboratively with partner agencies to support families.
You will be responsible for completing Child in Need, Child Protection and safeguarding work, managing risk effectively and ensuring interventions are delivered in line with statutory guidance and best practice.
Key Skills Required:
- Experience within Family Help, Child Protection, Child in Need or Assessment Teams
- Strong safeguarding, assessment and risk management skills
- Experience completing statutory assessments and managing complex caseloads
- Knowledge of Section 17 and Section 47 processes
- Excellent communication, report writing and multi-agency working skills
- Social Work England registration required
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- Registered with Social Work England
- Previous experience within Children's Services
- Strong knowledge of statutory safeguarding legislation and children's social care practice
