Family Court Advisor - Up to £33.50 p/h Umb | CAFCASS - North Yorkshire (Mainly Remote Role)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Court Advisor to join CAFCASS in North Yorkshire. This mainly remote role offers a competitive rate of up to £33.50 per hour (Umbrella) and provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. As a Family Court Advisor, you will work closely with families involved in family court proceedings, ensuring the best interests of children are at the forefront of every decision.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments of families involved in court proceedings.
- Preparing reports for the court that reflect the needs and wishes of children.
- Working collaboratively with other professionals, including social workers, legal representatives, and families.
- Providing advice and guidance to parents and guardians on family dynamics and court processes.
- Attending court hearings to advocate for the best interests of children.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A relevant social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in child protection and family court matters.
- Strong assessment and report-writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
