As a Duty & Assessment QSW, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting initial assessments and investigations in response to referrals.
  • Working closely with families to identify their needs and develop appropriate support plans.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Providing advice and support to social care staff and other professionals.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in child protection and assessment work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
