Surrey - Social Worker - Safeguarding Team - £42p/hr Umb

Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join Surrey County Council's Safeguarding Team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and well-established service, making a real difference to the lives of children and families.

Role Details:

  • Position: Social Worker
  • Team: Safeguarding Team
  • Location: KT13 8EH (Hybrid Working Available)
  • Pay Rate: £42 per hour (Umbrella)
  • Contract: Locum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of children and families within safeguarding services.
  • Completing Child in Need, Child Protection, and court-related assessments and reports.
  • Undertaking statutory visits and ensuring children receive timely and effective support.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
  • Developing and implementing robust care and support plans to achieve positive outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Social Work England registration.
  • Previous experience working within Children's Safeguarding services.
  • Strong assessment, report writing, and case management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary environment.
