Surrey - Social Worker - Safeguarding Team - £42p/hr Umb
Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join Surrey County Council's Safeguarding Team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and well-established service, making a real difference to the lives of children and families.
Role Details:
- Position: Social Worker
- Team: Safeguarding Team
- Location: KT13 8EH (Hybrid Working Available)
- Pay Rate: £42 per hour (Umbrella)
- Contract: Locum
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of children and families within safeguarding services.
- Completing Child in Need, Child Protection, and court-related assessments and reports.
- Undertaking statutory visits and ensuring children receive timely and effective support.
- Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
- Developing and implementing robust care and support plans to achieve positive outcomes.
Requirements:
- Social Work England registration.
- Previous experience working within Children's Safeguarding services.
- Strong assessment, report writing, and case management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary environment.
