We are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join the Family Safeguarding Team in Surrey, based in Weybridge. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established and supportive team, focused on delivering positive outcomes for children and families.
You will be working within a dynamic Family Safeguarding model, managing a varied caseload and working collaboratively with multi-agency professionals to safeguard vulnerable children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload including Child in Need, Child Protection, and court work
- Working within a Family Safeguarding model to support children and families
- Undertaking assessments, care planning, and statutory visits
- Working closely with partner agencies to ensure effective safeguarding
- Contributing to achieving positive and sustainable outcomes for children
Role Details:
- Location: Weybridge, Surrey
- Rate: Up to £42 per hour (Umbrella)
- Working Pattern: Hybrid (to be discussed at interview)
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Social Worker looking to make a real impact within a forward-thinking safeguarding service.
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
- Social Work England Registration
- Driving license and access to own vehicle
