Child Looked After Team Social Worker - Flintshire
Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Permanence and Pathways Team within the Children Looked After Service in Flintshire County Council.
This team manages the care and support for children in care and care leavers, fulfilling statu-tory responsibilities under Part 6 of the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014.
You will work directly with looked after children and young people, helping to deliver high-quality, outcome-focused interventions, with a strong multi-agency approach and commit-ment to safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake case management for children looked after and care leavers.
* Develop and maintain professional relationships with children, young people, and families.
* Contribute to care planning and permanency outcomes.
* Identify risks of abuse or harm, and escalate safeguarding concerns where necessary.
* Attend and represent the team in statutory meetings, including court, case confer-ences, and reviews.
* Prepare clear and accurate assessments, reports, and plans.
* Work collaboratively across agencies to improve outcomes.

Requirements:
* Qualified Social Worker (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
* Registered with Social Care Wales.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service.
* Strong knowledge of relevant Welsh legislation and guidance, including:
o Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014
o Children Act 1989 / 2004
o Leaving Care Act 2000
o All Wales Child Protection Procedures

Key Skills:
* Strong verbal and written communication.
* Experience in child protection, looked after children, or similar statutory teams.
* Ability to handle conflict and deliver child-centred plans under pressure.
* Skilled in multi-agency working and confident in case discussions and court proceed-ings.
* Organised, proactive, and flexible.
