Senior Safeguarding Practitioner - Adult Services - Wokingham Council
Pay Rate: £36.91 per hour
Contract: Locum, full-time

Wokingham Council is looking for an experienced Senior Safeguarding Practitioner to join their Adult Safeguarding Team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act

Provide expert advice and guidance to practitioners on complex safeguarding cases

Ensure compliance with the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and other relevant legislation

Undertake visits and liaise with multi-agency partners as needed

Essential Requirements:

Significant safeguarding experience within the past 12 months

Strong legal literacy (Care Act, Mental Capacity Act)

Good IT skills, including proficiency with Mosaic

Ability to drive and conduct home visits when required
