QSW - Family Safeguarding Team - Hertfordshire
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for experienced Social Workers to join the Family Safeguarding Team West with Hertfordshire County Council, based in Apsley, Hemel Hempstead.
Job Title: Qualified Social Worker - Family Safeguarding
Location: Apsley, Hemel Hempstead
Pay Rate: £37 - £39 per hour
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days in the office per week
Role Overview:
As a Social Worker in the Family Safeguarding Team West, you will work closely with children and their families to provide safe, effective, and coordinated care. You will manage a caseload of under 20 children, undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews, and deliver welfare reports to conferences and court hearings. This role involves close collaboration with multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of children (under 20 per QSW)
- Conduct assessments, care planning, and reviews
- Attend and deliver reports to conferences and court hearings
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to achieve positive outcomes
- Participate in regular supervision and training, including motivational interviewing
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, ideally within frontline children's teams
- Extensive experience in children's services
- Interest and commitment to the Family Safeguarding way of working
- Must be available for interviews within the next week upon submission

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
* Social Work England Registration
