Qualified Social Worker - Older People Team
Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire
Rate: £32.00 per hour
Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Older People Team in St Albans, Hertfordshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated social worker who is passionate about supporting older adults and promoting independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake assessments, reviews, and care planning for older adults.
- Manage a varied caseload in line with statutory responsibilities and legislation.
- Work collaboratively with service users, families, carers, and partner agencies.
- Conduct safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments where required.
- Promote independence and person-centred practice.
- Maintain accurate and timely case recordings and reports.
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification.
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Experience working within Adult Social Care, ideally with older people.
- Strong assessment, safeguarding, and care management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
