Pay Rate: £30.57 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: WV1 1RL, Wolverhampton
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the Family Finding Team at City of Wolverhampton Council.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated Family Finding Team, supporting children to achieve safe, stable and permanent family placements. You will work closely with children, prospective carers, adopters and partner agencies to identify suitable long-term families and ensure positive outcomes through effective permanence planning.
You will be responsible for undertaking assessments, matching children with appropriate carers, contributing to permanence planning, and working collaboratively with fostering, adoption and children's services teams to achieve the best possible outcomes for children.
Key Skills Required:
Previous experience within Family Finding, Fostering, Adoption or Children's Services
Strong knowledge of permanence planning, safeguarding and statutory children's social care legislation
Experience undertaking family assessments and matching children with suitable carers
Excellent assessment, analytical and report writing skills
Strong communication and multi-agency partnership working abilities
Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and professionals
Social Work England registration required
Essential Requirements:
Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
Registered with Social Work England
Previous experience within Children's Services
Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, permanence planning and children's social care practice
