Trafford Council - Social Worker (Adults Central Team)
Location: Sale Waterside, Trafford
Rate: £30 per hour

Trafford Council are seeking experienced Social Workers to join their Central Neighbourhood Team within the integrated community service. The team works with adults facing a range of challenges, including long-term conditions, dementia, substance misuse, alcohol issues, and hoarding.

About the Role:

  • Conduct strengths-based, person-centred assessments and interventions.
  • Manage a varied caseload effectively while contributing to the team's workload.
  • Respond to safeguarding concerns in line with the Care Act and local policies.
  • Build professional relationships with health and social care services to provide coordinated support.
  • Participate in a duty rota to support individuals in crisis.

About You:

  • Qualified Level 3 Social Worker with at least 3 years post-qualifying experience.
  • Experienced in statutory Adult Social Care and safeguarding vulnerable adults.
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to outcomes-focused, strengths-based practice.
  • Collaborative, supportive, and open to continuous learning.
