Barnsley - AP - Assessment and Duty Team
EDEN BROWN SYENRGY is currently looking for an experienced & committed Advanced Practitioner for Barnsley Council , offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a well-established Duty and Assessment Team.
PAY RATE : Upto £37.00 p/h (Umb)
Roles & Responsibilities (R&R):
- Lead, supervise, and support social workers within the Duty and Assessment Team.
- Conduct complex assessments of children and families, ensuring safeguarding needs are identified and addressed.
- Develop, implement, and monitor care plans in line with statutory requirements.
- Provide professional guidance and mentorship to less experienced social workers.
- Attend and contribute to strategy meetings, case conferences, and court proceedings as required.
- Collaborate with multi-agency teams to provide coordinated support for children at risk.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records in accordance with council policies.
- Evaluate and improve service delivery and intervention outcomes within the team.
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
- Social Work England Registration.
- Driving license and access to own vehicle.
