Walsall - SP - Duty and Assessment Team
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Practitioner to join the Duty and Assessment Team at Walsall Council.
Pay Rate: £33.30 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: WS1 1TP, Walsall
As a Senior Practitioner within the Duty and Assessment Team, you will play a key role in supporting children, young people and families, undertaking high-quality assessments and ensuring timely interventions to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes. You will provide guidance and support to colleagues, contribute to decision-making, and work closely with multi-agency partners to deliver effective services.
Key Skills Required:
* Experience within Duty & Assessment, Safeguarding, Child Protection and Children in Need services
* Ability to undertake complex assessments and risk analysis
* Strong knowledge of statutory children's social work and safeguarding procedures
* Experience supporting and mentoring less experienced social workers
* Excellent communication, decision-making and case management skills
* Ability to produce high-quality assessments and reports
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Previous experience working within Children's Services
* Significant experience within Duty & Assessment or frontline safeguarding teams
