Doncaster - QSW - Child in care Team
EDEN BROWN SYENRGY is currently looking for an experienced & committed Social Worker for Doncaster Council, offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a well-established Child in care Team.
Pay Rate :- £32-£35p/hr (Umb)
Roles & Responsibilities (R&R):
- Manage a caseload of Children in Care, ensuring all statutory responsibilities are met.
* Undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews in line with legislation and safeguarding procedures.
* Build effective relationships with children, young people, families, carers, and partner agencies.
* Prepare and present reports for court proceedings, reviews, and multi-agency meetings.
* Develop and implement care plans focused on achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.
* Conduct regular visits to children in placement and monitor their welfare and progress.
* Work collaboratively with fostering teams, education providers, health professionals, and other stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with council policies.
* Participate in team meetings, supervision sessions, and ongoing professional development.
* Promote the safety, wellbeing, and permanence of children in care at all times.
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
- Social Work England Registration.
- Driving license and access to own vehicle.
