Duties and Responsibilities:
* Holding a caseload of Children in Need under Section 17 and children subject to Child Protection Plans
* Undertaking Initial Assessments under Section 17
* Undertaking Core Assessments under Section 17
* Undertaking Core Assessments under Section 47
* Undertaking Child Protection Enquiries under Section 47
* Undertaking Parenting Assessments
* Undertaking Risk Assessments
* Undertaking Educational Needs Assessments
* Carrying out home visits for monitoring purposes/ to promote the welfare of and to safeguard the children
* Liaising/ Working close with partnership agencies to support the families and meet the children/ young peoples needs
