Are you an experienced and dedicated Social Worker looking to take the next step in your career? We are currently recruiting for an Advanced Practitioner to join the Locality Team at Barnsley Council. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive environment, helping to achieve positive outcomes for children, young people, and families.
📝 Key Responsibilities
- Manage a complex caseload within Children's Services.
- Provide expert guidance and support to colleagues within the team.
- Undertake assessments, care planning, and safeguarding interventions.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure effective service delivery.
- Promote positive outcomes for children and families through high-quality social work practice.
- Contribute to service development and best practice initiatives.
✅ Essential Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualified experience within Children's Services.
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures, legislation, and best practice within Children's Services.
- Ability to manage complex cases and make sound professional decisions.
