ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Holding a caseload of children subject to Child Protection Plans and Children in Need under Section 17
  • Undertaking Initial Assessments under Section 17
  • Undertaking Core Assessments under Section 47
  • Undertaking Child Protection Enquiries under Section 47
  • Barnsley are looking for an experienced team manager to manage a safeguarding team.
  • The team manager will have relevant experience in managing child in need, children in need of protection and children subject to private and public law proceedings.
  • The team manager will be responsible for 7 social workers and will need to provide support and supervision.
