The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience working in children's services, particularly within kinship care or foster care settings.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with families and colleagues.
