We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our MASH/CP Team in the London Borough of Bexley. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in our community.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Undertaking assessments of children and families to identify risks and determine appropriate interventions
  • Working collaboratively with partner agencies to gather information and make informed decisions
  • Developing and implementing care plans to support children in need of protection
  • Participating in case conferences and court proceedings as necessary
  • Providing support and guidance to families to address safeguarding concerns

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding work
  • Excellent assessment and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
