Children's SW - Assessment Team - Worcestershire
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Worcestershire. As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing support to children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Undertaking comprehensive assessments to determine the needs and risks faced by children and families.
- Developing and implementing care plans that promote the well-being and safety of children.
- Working collaboratively with other professionals, such as health workers and educators, to provide holistic support.
- Participating in case conferences and court proceedings to advocate for the best interests of children.
- Providing guidance and support to families to help them navigate challenges and access necessary services.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess:
- A recognized Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and working with children and families in a social work setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for children.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to child protection and welfare.
Additional requirements for this role may include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel within the Worcestershire area.
