We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Family Safeguarding team in Hertfordshire, specifically based in Watford. This role offers an hourly rate of £37, providing an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable families and children.

Key responsibilities and duties for this position include:

  • Undertaking assessments of families to determine their needs and risks
  • Developing and implementing effective safeguarding plans
  • Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure comprehensive support
  • Participating in case conferences and court proceedings as required

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant social work qualification and HCPC registration
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding work
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases

In addition to the above requirements, candidates with experience in Family Safeguarding or similar fields will be highly preferred.
