We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Safeguarding Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our team in Nottinghamshire. As a key member of our Family Safeguarding service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and interventions to families in need, with a focus on safeguarding children and promoting their welfare.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Undertaking assessments and developing care plans for families to address safeguarding concerns.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and partner agencies to ensure the best outcomes for families.
  • Providing direct support and guidance to families, including parenting interventions and advocacy.
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of children.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in line with regulatory requirements.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
