We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Team in Nottinghamshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing support and intervention services to vulnerable children and families in order to safeguard their well-being.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families in need
  • Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for children
  • Undertaking direct work with children and families to address safeguarding concerns
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews as required
  • Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive change and resilience

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience working within children's services, preferably within a safeguarding team
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
