Liverpool City Council is seeking an experienced Adult Social Worker to join our supportive and fast-paced teams. If youre passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support and have a strong understanding of adult social care legislation, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
Undertake Care Act Assessments, Mental Capacity Assessments, and Safeguarding Enquiries

Support individuals to maintain independence through strengths-based, outcome-focused approaches

Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams including health, housing, and voluntary sector partners

Manage complex caseloads and contribute to court work where required

Commission care packages and ensure value for money

? What You'll Need:
Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration

Substantial post-qualified experience in Adult Social Care

In-depth knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and safeguarding procedures

Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and contribute to positive outcomes
