We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Social Workers to join our Stockport Review Team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families in the community.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of service users' needs and risks
  • Developing and implementing care plans to support service users' well-being and safeguarding
  • Participating in case conferences and reviews to ensure effective support and intervention
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to provide holistic care
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in line with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and developing care plans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users and stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound knowledge of social work principles, legislation, and best practices

In addition to the above requirements, candidates with experience in child protection, looked after children, or safeguarding adults are highly desirable. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £30 per hour and the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative team environment.
