IRO/CP Chair - North West London £45 p/h

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated IRO/CP Chair to join our team in North West London, offering a competitive rate of £45 per hour. This role is crucial in ensuring that children and young people are at the center of decision-making processes. As an IRO/CP Chair, you will facilitate Child Protection Conferences and Looked After Reviews, ensuring that all meetings are conducted in a fair, transparent, and child-focused manner.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and chairing Child Protection Conferences and Looked After Reviews.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice guidelines.
  • Working collaboratively with social workers, families, and other professionals to develop and monitor care plans.
  • Providing guidance and support to families and children throughout the process.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to meetings and decisions made.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, BA in Social Work).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-agency environment.
